Founder & Clinical director of Alight Therapy
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist based in Encinitas, California, and the founder and clinical director of Alight Therapy, a group practice serving clients across San Diego, Orange County, and Los Angeles. I reside in South Orange County and maintain a physical office in Encinitas, allowing me to serve a broad regional client base. My clinical specializations include the treatment of eating disorders, adolescent and family therapy, LGBTQIA+ affirming care, and the support of college students and emerging adults navigating complex developmental transitions.
In 2025, I co-founded the Orange County Eating Disorder Collective—a multidisciplinary consortium of therapists, physicians, psychiatrists, and dietitians dedicated to advancing integrative, inclusive, and evidence-informed care. This work reflects my broader commitment to clinical excellence, provider accountability, and systemic reform in the mental health field.
My therapeutic approach is relational, trauma-informed, and grounded in systems theory. I integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Bowen Family Systems Theory, applying these frameworks through a weight-inclusive, culturally responsive, and socially just lens.
I bring over a decade of clinical experience across all levels of care, including inpatient, residential, PHP, IOP, and outpatient settings. My practice is supported by ongoing consultation and advanced training, including a two-year intensive in Bowen Theory and membership in the Ample & Rooted Community.
As a member of the LGBTQIA+ community with lived experience in eating disorder recovery, I approach therapy with authenticity, empathy, and deep respect for the complexity of healing. I’m passionate about creating affirming spaces for individuals of all body sizes, racial and ethnic backgrounds, sexual orientations, and gender identities.
Outside of my clinical work, I find joy in watching soccer (Go Wave & USWNT!), exploring Southern California, and listening to Taylor Swift, Beyoncé, and the Wicked movie soundtrack. Recent reads I’ve loved include He/She/They: How We Talk About Gender and Why It Matters by Schuyler Bailar and The Measure by Nikki Erlick.
I offer in-person sessions in Encinitas and virtual therapy to clients throughout California.

Clinical Practice & Specialization
My clinical expertise is centered around the treatment of:
Eating Disorders & Comorbid Diagnoses
I provide comprehensive, evidence-based care to individuals recovering from anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, binge eating disorder, and ARFID. My work often includes co-occurring concerns such as anxiety, depression, OCD, trauma, and substance use. I have served clients across residential, PHP, IOP, and outpatient levels of care.
Adolescents & Family Systems
I have a longstanding commitment to adolescent mental health, grounded in years of experience in educational and therapeutic contexts. I support adolescents and their families through systemic change, helping them build more adaptive communication patterns, clarify roles, and engage in developmentally appropriate individuation.
College Students & Emerging Adults
I specialize in working with undergraduate and graduate students managing the transition into adulthood, often navigating anxiety, depression, perfectionism, academic stress, and relational challenges.
LGBTQ+ Affirming Psychotherapy
I provide affirming, identity-celebratory care for members of the LGBTQ+ community, particularly adolescents and young adults exploring gender, sexuality, and relational identity in the context of broader mental health concerns.
My approach is collaborative, respectful, and growth-oriented. I maintain a strong referral network and engage in multidisciplinary collaboration when needed to support optimal client outcomes.
Founder & Clinical Director, Alight Therapy
As the founder of Alight Therapy, I lead a team of clinicians dedicated to the delivery of highly attuned, affirming, and developmentally appropriate care. Our group practice specializes in eating disorders, LGBTQ+ identity, adolescent and family systems work, and the unique clinical needs of college students and young adults.
Alight Therapy serves clients across San Diego, Orange County, and Los Angeles, and reflects my commitment to ethical leadership, clinical integrity, and social responsibility. We are deeply invested in ongoing education, anti-oppressive frameworks, and the cultivation of inclusive therapeutic environments.
